Found a tough time with the final boss. I thought I disabled all the cannons but nothing really happened. Wasn't able to finish, but fantastic game all around.
I only beat the first boss and I already love this game, very cool and kinda challenging. I cant wait to see what the other bosses have in store and also cant wait until this becomes a full game!
This was such an awesome experience! It's such a fantastic idea, can't believe it hasn't been done before. It took me a bit to get the hang of things, but once I did it felt great. The atmosphere and everything was super on point. Already wishlisted on Steam, can't wait to see more!
I don't remember which version I've played, but after leaving port, I've been sailing for about half an hour and only came across rocks. Still, the game is nice even if you can't find any sea monsters, if nothing else, at least you've got a fun boat trip, especially during rainstorms. :D
Just wanted to say that there is a bug where when ur entering the battle zone for boss 1 (like when the water starts to darken) for some reason u can go to the back of the boat and glitch outside of the boat, once this has happend it will no longer let u back in
so... how strong is the fisherman? i mean, the arpoon goes almost in a straight line for a long distance. the guy must be strong as hulk LOL just a randon question that changes nothing i think about the game. just wondering.
tested Mac version, works with old intel Macs but usually won't run too well on high graphics settings, however its incompatible with new silicon(m1 chip) Macs because the code is intended for intel I think. If you could make it compatible with new Macs that would be great, I really want to play it. Good luck in developing this game. :D
"Mac/Liux builds are untested so no idea if they will work"
- I'm playing on MacOS and for now everything is working perfectly fine , i just had to set to the lowest graphics because it was a bit blurry and the light was a bit disturbing
I truly enjoyed this game and I see a bright future for the later developments of the game. Maybe there could be some sort of leveling system with upgrades to your boat and harpoon, combine this with multiplay and I think people would spend hours on this game.
While I may not have great harpoon aim, What Lives Below is definitely a game with potential. While I'd like to see it go open world, similar to Shadow of the Colossus, the level based setup works well enough for a smaller game. The art style is fantastic during the fights, creating such a dramatic atmosphere, especially during the worm(?) fight. The music was pretty good as well, although it did feel a bit on the peaceful side when I got to the bird. Overall, this was a good time with a fair challenge.
amazing game! Love that you guys showed what can be made with unity! one thing i would like to suggest is that you show a diagram of the creature first to show its weakpoints

You have to interact with the radar at the controls of the boat to zoom it out, and then you should be able to see where the sea monster is.
Only one spawns and it should be within range of the home island :)
Oh yeah, actually I did notice something on the radar once, but I kinda lost it. Still, like I said, it's a fun little game.
a great game and it's really fun
Just very hard and needs different weapons as I am crap lol
5/5
Lost for words! absolutely crushed it!
THIS IS THE GAME IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! I CANT WAIT FOR FULL RELEASE
Did you develop this prototype by yourself?
It's a nice concept and it could become a masterpiece. Love the idea.
Looking forward to see how further it will develop 🎉
Yep just me
Except the menu music, that was made by a friend :)

First two bosses beat in 30 minutes, next 30 minutes of gameplay spent looking for boss #3. What. Shouldn't have to watch a video to find the bosses
How did you fail at finding a giant stone bird???
lmfao
This game Will be for Android?
Not working for me :(
What issue are you having?
It completly black scrren and i can't even do any thing i need to force shut down my pc. i wait 1 hour not happing anything
that is the ISSUE
What platform are you on (Windows/Mac/Linux)?
Also do you know your PC specs? They could be useful.
windows and the space is not that good 6GB free form 120GB
I think it could just be your PC sadly. :/ Some PCs like my old one can't really handle games like this.
smooth gameplay

Ой! Прикольно! На каком движок сделана игра?

I used win and it was sooo glitchy. what about any of U?
I just downloaded on mac and I can get into the game but when the loading screen is finished it just stays like a dark purple screen
Did you try pressing some keys, perhaps the message to do so just didn't come up.
I have Linux, I will test it :)

Just like fishing with Pa!
I miss pa...
The water physics make me go yes.

Is there any plan to make this multiplayer?

Good job, dev.Seems like a good game but it keeps crashing.
LOVE THE GAME

or just a pop up screen with the diagram of the monster
